We all have moments that we need to stop, to assess, to renew and then step forward. The key to not staying stuck in the muck, I think, is to roll around in it. Feel it. Get familiar with it and then do what you need to do to shake off the muck.

I feel the need to connect in person with my tribe to share space, to laugh and cry, to have experiences and learn from each other.”

"There are many things that can make us feel less than heart forward, I think the key is to notice and to bring awareness around the times we feel this way and then make a choice to stay in this heart space or the change it. In times of feeling “less than” ask yourself, “What would I rather be feeling?” What are some things you can do to make yourself feel that?
"You might not know this but when I get up in front of people and all eyes are on me, my heart races, my mouth and throat go completely dry and I start to shake. It does not matter how comfortable I am with the audience or how solid I am on the content, this just happens. I usually cover it pretty well and have learned to accommodate, but why this happens has always been a mystery.
"As I looked at the two large pieces of mirror embedded into my wall and the several smaller pieces that lay in the crash zone, it seemed like such a metaphor for life. This mirror was whole and with one event it was broken. These pieces of mirror no longer fit back together in the same way. Then I realized, it wasn’t supposed to. I realized in that moment the mirror was ready for transformation and I was the catalyst."
